This project’s activity is focused on the development of a harmonised certification’s system of informal and non-formal competences in the Painting sector, from defining the profession of a specialised painter, to the proposal of recommendations on how to improve the competences’ recognition procedure.

The result of IO4 is a Report which proposes a methodology in specific steps, aiming to deliver at the end of the process a certification to an aspiring painter considering their informal or/and non-formal education. The trainer will have to follow the mentioned steps to recognise his/her competences:

1) To identify what he/she knows or is able to do and to register it; 2) To evaluate his/her previous competences; 3) To validate that the previous competences respect some needs or standards; 4) To certify, declaring that what the aspiring painter knows or is able to do, satisfies certain criteria, and to deliver a document attesting it.

The final report gathers some relevant models of units’ evaluation, based on specific works to be realised.
